Westmoreland County Juvenile Center

The WCJC project was the addition of a secure vestibule and waiting area to an existing juvenile detention center. The architect’s design integrated custom cone-shaped cover caps that ran horizontally at the left elevation and then vertically at the right elevation. The right side was also sloping at a 14-degree angle which intensified the layout and intersections of the curtain walls with the panels.
