Flight 93 National Memorial

This prestigious project for the U.S. Department of the Interior was created as a National Memorial for the tragedy of 9/11. This moving and beautifully designed memorial was officially dedicated and opened on September 10, 2015. The memorial complex includes the Visitor’s Center, the Learning Center buildings, and several viewpoints in the park landscape.
MAPG incorporated several systems to meet the designed installation requirements, in collaboration with Oldcastle Building Envelope of Newnan, GA, and United Plate Glass of Butler, PA.

The 16′ tall curtain walls provide the glazing element, and also act as the exterior walls above the ceiling line.
